Select the level you are leveling up to:

Choose your Race.
Roll your ability scores.
Roll 4d6 and subtract the lowest.
Do this 6 times and then assign each of these values to the desired Ability.
For Bards, it is recommended that CHA is the highest ability score and DEX is the next highest.
Add any ability score increases that your Race and/or Subrace specify.
Fill in each ability modifier.
You can calculate each ability modifier by subtracting 10 from the ability score.
Then divide by 2 and round down.
Your Proficiency Bonus is +2.
